Evan graduated from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, where he majored in International Law. His undergraduate thesis was research on protection for Indonesian citizens amidst conflict in a non diplomatically related nation. During his studies, he served as Director of Human Resources Development (PSDM) & Reasoning of the Student Press Organization ManifesT at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya in 2019. Prior to joining NSMP, he gained legal experience through internships at other law firms, where he was involved in a range of corporate, commercial and employment matters.
His transactional work includes legal due diligence for corporate acquisitions, covering corporate records, legal standing, regulatory compliance, assets, and landholdings, as well as land due diligence involving the review of ownership and tax documentation. He has also worked on a proposed food and beverage acquisition and the establishment and registration of a domestic investment company (PMDN).
In employment matters, Evan has been involved in termination processes, employment due diligence, Perjanjian Bersama (PB) registration, and Jaminan Kehilangan Pekerjaan (JKP) claims, including disputes arising from termination and related court proceedings. His regulatory and corporate work further includes production equipment registration for a water ionization machinery company, post-liquidation licensing for remaining cosmetic stock, investment and business licensing, corporate governance, and related legal research.
Evan is fluent in English and Indonesian.
