Azharaya Fawzia Prasetio (Zhara) joined Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners (NSMP) in 2021. In 2020, she acquired a law degree from the University of Indonesia with a major in business and economics law.

 Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial, employment, regulatory, and dispute-related matters. She advises Indonesian and multinational clients across a range of industries, including financial services and insurance, industrial and manufacturing, shipping and transportation, technology, and other regulated sectors.

Azharaya’s corporate and commercial practice encompasses foreign investment, corporate establishment and restructuring, corporate governance, commercial agreements, licensing, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia. She has also been involved in legal due diligence and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, matters concerning land and corporate assets, and the review and negotiation of commercial arrangements.

Her employment practice covers a broad range of matters, including employment agreements, company regulations, workforce arrangements, employee classification, disciplinary measures, termination of employment, retirement and separation arrangements, and employment-related regulatory compliance. She also assists clients in industrial relations disputes at various stages of the dispute resolution process.

Azharaya advises clients on regulatory matters involving Indonesian government authorities and regulators, particularly in relation to corporate, employment, financial services, land, and sector-specific requirements. Her experience includes advising state-owned enterprises, financial institutions, and multinational companies on complex legal and regulatory issues arising from their business operations and commercial arrangements in Indonesia.

She has also worked closely with the in-house legal, business, human resources, and compliance teams of a multinational technology company, providing support on corporate and commercial matters, regulatory compliance, employment issues, and commercial contracts.

Azharaya is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

Azharaya is fluent in English and Indonesian.
