NSMP applies its legal knowledge on a pro bono basis to help people in the communities where we live and work, and who otherwise lack of access to the legal services that NSMP offer.
All NSMP partners and the firm share commitment to offering assistance and legal knowledge to those who are in need.
All our lawyers are open to pro bono initiatives. NSMP provide pro bono clients with the same standards given to commercial client service. Involvement in pro bono activities, our lawyers are given the opportunity to develop valuable experience and advocacy skills.
NSMP rendered pro bono works among others:
- Contributing in the assistance for Small and Medium enterprises in Covid-19 Pro-Bono Advocate Heroism program, held by the Ministry of Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Hukumonline.
- Assisting in providing inputs for the drafts of Government Regulation as the implementing ordinance of the Job Creation/Omnibus Law. These regulations encompass expatriates, remuneration, manpower implementation as well Work Loss Security. The program was held by the Indonesia Labor Law Consultant Association at the behest from the Ministry of Manpower.
- Assisting Jakarta Property Institute in reviewing and proposing provisions related to simplifying licensing process for amendment of DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 209/2016 regarding Spatial Licensing and Recommendation with One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu) of DKI Jakarta.
