Fajar Riduan Siahaan joined Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners (NSMP) as an associate in 2013. He graduated and earned his degree in law (S.H.) in 2013 from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia, where he took a concentration in Transnational Relations Law. During his tenure at NSMP, Fajar earned his Master of Law (LL.M.) in International Business Law in 2017 from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2021, he worked in a Korean affiliated firm. He rejoined NSMP in 2022.

Fajar focuses his work in legal advisory and assistance to domestic and foreign clients on various legal matters such as: commercial dispute resolution, criminal cases, debt restructuring and insolvency, foreign direct investment, land and property, construction, and industrial relations.

In the corporate commercial aspect of his practice, Fajar advised a Singaporean company in conducting a corporate restructuring of its Indonesian subsidiaries and operations in order to comply with the regulations of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) before its initial public offering. He has also advised and accompanied a state-owned enterprise, which engages in technology manufacturing, in a debt restructuring process through court proceedings (penundaan kewajiban pembayaran utang – PKPU).

While working at NSMP, Fajar was awarded as a “Indonesia Rising Stars 2021” by Asian Legal Business. He is a licensed advocate under Indonesian law. He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Organization (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia - PERADI) and is also a registered as receiver and administrator through the Indonesian Association of Receivers and Administrators (Ikatan Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia – IKAPI).

Fajar is fluent in English and Indonesian.
