Diki Andikusumah holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in Commercial Law from Trisakti University and an LL.M. from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He has more than 18 years of legal practice experience, advising Indonesian and international clients on a broad range of transactional, corporate, and commercial matters.
Diki’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, real estate, and corporate and commercial matters. He advises clients on complex transactions across a range of industries, including property, mining, oil and gas, consumer goods, and other sectors.
He has extensive experience in real estate and property transactions, including acquisitions of land and buildings, bulk sales of apartment units, land and title due diligence, land registration, property development structures, hotel management and licensing, and commercial leasing. His practice includes advising on the structuring, execution, and regulatory aspects of property transactions.
Diki also advises on capital markets transactions and corporate actions, including rights issues. His experience encompasses transaction structuring, regulatory and corporate requirements, due diligence, and the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation.
In M&A, Diki has represented foreign and domestic clients in share and asset acquisitions involving Indonesian property developers, mining companies, and oil and gas companies. His experience includes transactions involving complex acquisition structures and foreign investment considerations, as well as the establishment of foreign investment companies in Indonesia.
Diki also advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including construction, banking and finance, commercial and industrial relations disputes, intellectual property, and civil and criminal matters.
Diki was recognised as an “Indonesia Rising Stars Lawyer” by Asian Legal Business (ALB) in 2019. He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI) and the Indonesian Law Consultant Association (Ikatan Penasehat Hukum Indonesia). He also serves as a Board Member of the Financial Sectors Legal Consultant Association, formerly known as the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (HKHPM).
Diki has been involved in pro bono and public service initiatives, including matters concerning property and spatial licensing regulations in Jakarta. He is also a regular speaker at professional seminars and legal education programmes.
