Yulius Indra joined Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners (NSMP) in 2018 as a Senior Associate and as Of-Counsel from January 2024. Prior to this he has been practicing law at Kho & Darnadi, Roosdiono & Partners, legal department head of PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia and PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia and Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners during which tenure he was seconded to Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow to amongst other be involved in an arbitration case at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). Yulius graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia in 1998, where he majored in Commercial Law.
Yulius has rendered advisory services to clients on various legal issues, represented clients in transactional legal matters as well as commercial dispute resolutions. His experience in commercial dispute resolutions in courts of law and arbitration strengthens his expertise in contract law, jurisprudence and conflict management. He is also well-versed in foreign investments, joint operations, international trade, insurance, construction, mining, and the telecommunications sector.
Specifically, Yulius assisted in the structuring of a joint operation between several parties each with different expertise in the provision of gas powered electricity to PT PLN (Persero) including the preparation of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract, and other commercial aspects. His experience in dispute resolution matters relating to commercial office construction, oilfield drilling and smelting plant design including their insurance coverages strengthens his understanding of engineering and construction technical and legal issues. Recently he is involved in telecommunications projects such as assisting clients in the procurement of satellite slot concessions and 4G-LTE Base Transceiver Station (BTS) infrastructure tenders.
He was admitted to practice law in Indonesia in 1999 and is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI).
He is fluent in English and Indonesian and speaks Swedish.
