Yulius Indra is currently a Senior Associate in Nurjadin, Sumono, Mulyadi & Partners (NSMP) since 2018, where prior to this he has been practicing law at Kho & Darnadi, Roosdiono & Partners, legal department head of PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia and PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia and Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners during which tenure he was seconded to Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow to amongst other be involved in arbitration case in the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
Yulius has rendered advisory services to clients on various legal issues, represented clients in transactional legal matters as well as commercial dispute resolutions. His experience in commercial dispute resolutions in courts of law and arbitration strengthens his expertise in contract law, jurisprudence and conflict management. He is also well-versed in foreign investments, joint operations, international trade, insurance, construction, mining, and telecommunications sectors.
Specifically, he assisted in the structuring of a joint operation between several parties each with different expertise in the provision of gas powered electricity to PT PLN (Persero) including the preparation of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract, and other commercial aspects. His experience in dispute resolution matters relating to commercial office construction, oilfield drilling and smelting plant design including their insurance coverages strengthens his understanding of engineering and construction technical and legal issues. Recently he is involved in telecommunications projects such as assisting clients in the procurement of satellite slot concession and 4G-LTE Base Transceiver Station (BTS) infrastructure tender.
Yulius graduated from the Faculty of Law of Universitas Indonesia in 1998, where he majored in Commercial Law.
He is admitted to law practice in Indonesia since 1999 and is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI). He speaks Bahasa Indonesia, English and Swedish.
